The Invitation by Tom duBois ~ The Invitation is the second release in artist Tom duBois' Noah's Ark series. As is his custom, Tom designed and sewed the costume for each character. This piece tells the story of Noah gathering the animal in preparation for boarding the ark. For this piece, he was confronted with the challenge of creating the "whole" ark, as only a portion had been seen in The Promise. He enveloped it in mist - to indicate that the rains had begun and the earth was moist and foggy. In the midst of the trees he placed an angel watches over Noah, his family and his charges.
